We believe you have every right to know what information we collect from you, how we use it, and how you can control it. We want to help you make best decisions about what you share with us. This is why we aim to explain our Privacy Policy in the simplest form, so every parent can fully grasp it.
Please read the entire policy below, so you can better understand our website:
What Information We Collect: We collect information in a few ways: if you contact us through our website's contact form, we'll collect your name and email address. Parents also have to provide their name, phone number, email address, child's name, and child's age during the process of signing up. We also use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website, like which pages are visited and how long people stay. This helps us improve the site. We don't currently have user accounts or collect payment information directly through our website.
How We Use Your Information: We use the information we collect to help us run and improve our website. If you contact us or fill out the enrollment application for your child, we'll use your information to respond to your questions or requests. We also use data about how people use our website to understand what's popular, fix problems, and make the site better for everyone. We will communicate with you through the information you provide via the email you provide us.
How Long We Keep Your Information: We keep information collected through our website, such as contact form submissions and website usage data, for up to 14 days. After this period, the information is securely deleted from our systems. If parents decide to enroll their child in our program, we keep the emails and bank statements as proof for legal reasons.
Is Children’s Information Shown Publicly? No. We have a strong "Student Data Protection Policy" to protect our students. Your child's personal information, their face/voice via zoom calls, or any other content they create would NEVER be publicly available.
We Never Sell Your Information: We will never sell or share your personal information to anyone. We only disclose information to a limited set of third-party service providers necessary to provide or develop our Services (Google Forms and Our Hosting Service), or if the law requires it. We make sure these companies follow our instructions and this Privacy Policy. We make sure they have good security to protect your information. See here for more details.
Future Changes: If our company changes (like if we merge with another company), we promise to keep protecting your information as we said we would. The new company will have to follow this Privacy Policy unless you agree to a new one.
We Don't Use Student Information for Ads: We never use information from students to show them ads or let other companies show them ads. We also don't put any advertisements in the zoom sessions that your child attends. We might recommend educational content that we think kids will like, but we won't use their personal information to do it.
You Own Your Data: We don’t own any content or information you provide or we receive - you (students, parents, and/or schools) own your content and information.
Security is Important: We use the best security practices to protect your information, like encryption. We build our services with security in mind from the start.
We're Honest, Presenting You the Best Choices: We'll be clear about what we do with your information so you can make informed choices. If we make big changes to this policy, we'll let you know on our website or by email (if you gave us your email address).
If you have any further questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy, you are welcome to reach out to us via email: chatterpillarkids@gmail.com.
